What are Mini Brands?

Mini Brands are miniature replicas of real-world consumer products, sold in surprise blind capsules by ZURU. The original Core line launched in 2019; there are now 17+ active lines (Core, Toy, Foodie, Disney Store, Netflix, Kawaii, Fashion, Sneakers, Books, Home, Retro, Fill the Fridge, Ballers, Really Works, and more) and 42+ numbered series.

What rarity tiers and special finishes do Mini Brands use?

The standard tiers are Common, Rare and Ultra-Rare, with Frozen Moments as the top chase tier in most series. On top of the tiers, some minis ship with special finishes: Metallic, Gold, Glow-in-the-Dark and Scented. The paper collector-guide insert in each capsule shows the icons for the current wave, and every series page on this wiki lets you filter by rarity and finish.

What are Frozen Moments minis?

Frozen Moments are sculpted “action scene” minis — products captured mid-pour, mid-spill or mid-splash — and they're the top chase tier in most Mini Brands series. Pull rates vary by series, but collectors typically see one every 1-in-24 to 1-in-48 capsules. Specific drop rates aren't officially published; the rate icon on the collector's-guide insert in each capsule is your best reference.

What are Create Mini Brands series?

Create is ZURU's build-it umbrella inside Mini Brands. Each capsule contains parts that snap together into a finished display piece — examples include Masterchef series, Kawaii Bouquet (tiny floral arrangements) and Charms Keychain (collectible keychain charms). Create capsules are usually larger than standard Mini Brands capsules and lean toward display rather than playset use.

What is an "exclusive" Mini Brand?

Exclusives are minis you can't pull from the regular blind capsule. They ship inside specific packaging — advent calendars, Collector's Cases, multi-pack boxes — or are limited to a specific country or retailer. On each series page, exclusives are flagged so you don't go hunting for them in single capsules.

Why do I keep getting duplicates — are pulls really random?

Yes, blind capsules are randomly packed at the factory. Multi-packs, Collector's Cases and advent calendars reduce dupes by guaranteeing different minis inside one box. The only reliable way to stop re-buying the same minis is to track what you already own — that's exactly what this wiki's checklist is for.

How often do new Mini Brands series drop?

ZURU releases multiple new series every year — typically 6–10 across the various lines, plus seasonal advent calendars and Collector's Cases in Q3/Q4. Major new lines like Really Works or Ballers usually launch with their own Series 1 announcement; established lines get numbered follow-up series (S2, S3, …).

Where can I buy Mini Brands?

In the US: Target, Walmart, Amazon and Five Below carry most lines. UK: Smyths, Argos, The Entertainer and Amazon UK. AU: Kmart, Big W and Amazon AU. Some advent calendars, Collector's Cases and Really Works playsets are limited to a single retailer in each country — each series page on this wiki links straight to current listings.

Are Mini Brands safe for young children?

ZURU labels Mini Brands 3+ because of small parts that pose a choking hazard. They're built primarily for older kids, teens and adult collectors who display them rather than play with them. Most playsets (e.g. Really Works) are also rated 3+ but include very small accessories — supervise younger kids.
